Within the ATC, cadets have the chance to pursue musical activities, taking part in Wing, Region or Corps events. If you don’t play a musical instrument, then there is the opportunity to learn at Wing Band.

At 1066, we’re unique in comparison to other squadrons in our wing, in that we have our own marching band. As a marching band, we play at almost every wing event, and take part in parades such as the Remembrance Sunday Parade. Every cadet is welcome to be a part of the marching band and all the training and teaching is given at 1066, so even if you have no musical talent whatsoever, you’re welcome to come along and give it a go!
