You will also have the opportunity to gain an additional 2 GCSE's just for completing the Classification training syllabus.
As well as doing classification levels you can also partake in BTEC awards which grant you the equivalent of 4 GCSEs when you complete the course. The BTEC awards are the BTEC First Diploma in Public Services and the BTEC First Diploma in Music. Both courses are fully accredited by the Cadet Vocational Qualification Organisation (CVQO).
With the BTEC First Diplomas in Public Services and Music worth 4 GCSEs A*-C grade, and the Master Cadet Qualification worth 2 GCSEs A*-C grade, it is possible to gain 10 GCSEs by basically doing cadet activities on a weekly basis, along with a few workbooks. As well as the ATC experience, these qualifications are invaluable when applying for college, university or even writing a CV for a job application.
